Having an open eye towards the world, wherever you might be, being observant of shapes, moments, and instances, never shutting out what can be shared through an image. Being extremely lucky to see places on this earth I’d never thought I’d see, thousands of images exist that compile moments where I thought “I need to keep this one”. Below are just such moments, some are obvious, some are magical , others are just ok.
The purpose of showing these images, is not for any other reason other than to give a rounder impression of my eye. I am far from a professional.
In explanation of just one, the image right below this caption is one of my Chocolate Labs, Luna. It happened by pure accident. On a hike, deep within a known haunted New England wood, she froze and turned exactly under perfectly opposed, crossed bows of birch trees, with a path that went to infinity behind her. After I took the shot, she simply turned and kept on her way. It was simply a moment of perfection that I was allowed to see and capture.
